"Arrived at 5:15pm Friday. Plenty of seating available. Our server was bubbly and checked on us as our meal progressed. Portion size for the perfectly cooked calamari was huge! Miso soup and ginger salad were tasty, but a bit too much yellow-white lettuce in the mix. Inari sushi - nothing to write home about.. the rice in it was smashed together, not light, like it should be. My wife enjoyed her shrimp and scallop dish. Erika #2 sushi was not my favorite, but you got to try stuff to decide, right. Tempura is not authentially fried‐ thick battered"

"From the first visit I was captivated by the fried rice. The special ingredients show they take pride in their food and service. Everyone so nice and welcoming. I met the owner on one occasion and I didn't even know it. He was so helpful and treated everyone with kindness. This is the best fried rice on the planet and I won't tell the secret ingredients you just have to see for yourself."

"I came here the first time because it seemed the most visually appealing place to get soup/ramen bowl on Google in the area. I was greeted and sat immediately. I ordered the Tokyo shoyu and was pleasantly surprised at how hot the soup was temperature-wise. It was absolutely delicious and the portion for the price was great. The sushi portions are very generous as well. You won’t see any paper thin nigiri here, they give you what you pay for. Service was A1. My server checked on me constantly and made sure I had everything I wanted. The hot sake is amazing in comparison to other places I’ve been. I’ve been back twice to try other dishes and have gotten to know the staff and management a bit. Great people. I travel a lot but anytime I’m in this area I’ll be back. Highly recommended."

"I did pick up and the man was so nice/funny on the phone. I traveled an hour to get to this place and it didn’t disappoint. The CALAMARI is the perfect crisp small ringed calamari I love (also the sauce with the calamari is my fav) , Katsu is coated to perfection, b52 roll is so succulent with the salmon), the Yaki udon was good too. Just so good and worth the travel even though I know there are other locations. But I heard they are the best, cant wait to dine in !"

"We visited Ru San's recently after not visiting for years. The Sushi we shared was fresh and so Yummy! Our favorite roll was the teriyaki eggplant! So good! They have a lot of veggie options compared to other places in the area and the prices were great. I think we have found our go to Sushi place! ****EDIT: After two years this place does not disappoint! Best Sushi in Kennesaw. The food is Spectacular! We have never had a bad meal. The owners are the Sweetest and so is the staff!"

"Would highly recommend this restaurant! I’ve been a regular at the (I assume) sister location in Charlotte, NC so I had to try this place out whenever I was in the area. Staff are extremely friendly and attentive. The hamachi usu ku sashimi appetizer is a must. Sushi is high quality, consistent and delicious. Kamau to this owner!"
